The cider "El Gaitero Extra" is produced by traditional methods. We select a mixture of asturian cider apples with a great aromatic richness paying attention of organoleptic characteristics. The high quality juice so obtained is transformed after slow fermentation at low temperatures.

minutemat (5957) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2017
75cl bottle from Appleyards, Shrewsbury, shared with Soph whilst walking the dog. Pours a misty orange. Aroma is on the sweet, fruity side. Taste has a moderate to high sweetness with a sour tang. Sweet fruity character seems to build a bit and get a bit sickly making hard to finish by the end. Not the best Spain has to offer.

SinH4 (6124) - Garching b. M?nchen, GERMANY - JUN 27, 2017
Bottle from a supermarket in Benasque. Aroma is earthy, apples, a bit woody. Taste is woody, nutty, natural apples, a bit phenolic. High effervescent carbonation. Good stuff!

meatmanmd (167) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - APR 16, 2017
Golden with almost no head. Red apples, something resiny, medium sweet, light sour. Very enjoyable.

sjogro (4654) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 16, 2017
Bottle at Villa Bram, Abades, Tenerife. Clear golden with no head retention. Sweet red apple, light almond, somewhere a hint of glue. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice for a sweet cider, soft nutty/wood finish.

Rob_D_UK (1369) - Madrid, SPAIN - DEC 3, 2015
Very light and clear golden pour with no head but some white bubbles on the edges. Big aroma of sweet red apples. Taste is sweet and then tart, refreshing.

andrepintado (3613) - Porto, PORTUGAL - NOV 10, 2015
75cl bottle from el corte ingles, lisbon. Gold color. No head. Fizzy body. Aroma is red apples, barnyard. Quite good and easy drinkable.

Rhombic (145) - Elx, SPAIN - JUL 30, 2015
Pretty good appearance, soft aromas. Very pleasant in mouth and full flavours of apple. Sweetish, but not too much compared to standard ciders. Very nice.

Gurthnar (6174) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUL 26, 2015
Bottle. Overall balance is rather sweet in the beginning and in the middle, but masterfully balances sourness and tartness as well. High carbonation makes for a very refreshing drink. Dry sourish finish also adds to the moreish impression. Very tasty. Excellent.

Cuso (8934) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUL 26, 2015
Bottle kindly shared by Miro, many thanks. Light golden color with minimal white head. Sour apples, clove in aroma. Sweet apples in taste together with touch of pineapples, clove, vanilla. Tasty.

Erzengel (9364) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 22, 2015
Smooth and quite sweetish but fruity start. Not too deep, hints of sourness. Quite sweetish apples without being to tart or fruity. Easy to drink, even a bit too sweetish. Fresh sweetish apple aftertaste, slightly sourish, nice but nothing special.
