A contract brew, god knows why they serve it at their establishments, but I nabbed a sample complete with lime wedge at the Lake Geneva location. It was pretty awful with plenty o corn and mineral water. shrubber85 (11408) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 8, 2015
Draft. Light barley malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet barley malt and straw flavor. Decent - better than most actual Mexican beers. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 8, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Bottle. Light yellow/straw pour with a minimal white head. Aroma is bread dough and slight corn, and something kind of skunky. Light palate. Taste is slightly better than the aroma - also some bread dough and corn. Not very good. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 10, 2009
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. Thanks to Bob for the bottle! Poured clear, bright golden with a dusting of white head. The aroma picked up wet grains, dishwashing detergent powder, and dry honey for the most part.. nothing about this said "Drink Me!". The flavor was a touch better, but barely.. tartness of unknown origin hit the tip of the tongue and rode all the way through the drink.. wet grains and honey again at the core.. sticky, prickly alcohol, salt, and mild woody bitterness around.. actually lasted a while on the unpleasant finish. Light-bodied, but tacky in several places on the palate.. nothing that was showcased here was any good.. yikes! wlajwl (6814) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 27, 2011
Odd sweet maltiness in aroma, almost artificial. The flavor is sweet and funky, with a bit of spice. Strange idea for an ale, not the worst, but could be a lot better.

Yellow pour with white head. Good creamy lager with a sweet backbone. Not bad. Had this on draft at the sprecher brewpub in lake Geneva, IL. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - DEC 7, 2009
UPDATED: NOV 30, 2016 Straw color with a diminishing white head. Scents of lightly toasted grains and a bit of grassy hops. Light sweetness. Some pale malt, light bitterness, and salt. A bit watery. 7/11 - Pale golden color with a diminished white head. Grain and mild alcohol aromas. Stale floral and touch of lightly caramelized sugar scent. Lightly sweet with a mild floor malt to stale grape juice component. Finish is fairly dry with a bit of paper. Skyview (6055) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - DEC 17, 2009
Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at the Sprecher brewery north of Milwaukee, WI. Pours a clear golden straw colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring and film top. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of corn, some grassy hops and a touch of butter. Taste is light bodied, flavors of golden grain malt, corn husk, and a touch of salt. Finish is crisp, a hint of grassy hops, a touch of honey and some subdued bitterness that quickly disappears. A touch better than the regular macro produced lagers. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - OCT 29, 2011
Bottle. A slightly hazy bronze gold colored brew with a thin white head. The nose has dough, corn and some sweet apples. The taste is fairly sweet, like watered down apple juice with hints of lemons. There is also some light dough. Bland overall, this one is possibly infected, but I notice all the other rates state the same flavors. Just a strange one. badgerben (5181) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - APR 19, 2010
Courtesy of Skyview. Pale yellow color with a medium head. Light corn and grain aroma. Much the same for taste. Light bodied. Corn intensifies.
