COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for Robs dog, the White alludes to our use of 50% wheat instead of barley in this beer. Aside from that though, this beer has very little in common with what most people consider a wheat beer. The wheat in the malt bill gives the beer a lighter texture and mouthfeel, and helps to accentuate the bright citrus characters of the fruity West Coast and New Zealand hops we use. The result is an IPA that Hop Heads will love, but that is immediately approachable for most people.

Aroma of mango, pineapple, strawberry, slight pear, lovely hops tropical in style.Pours a surprising clear yellow considering the 50% wheat bill. Taste is missing the mal end but the hops are remarkably refreshing and sweet. palate is nice and not too dry really stellar. overall this is and incredibly refreshing take on the style.

A hazed orange amber ale in thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light resinous floral hops, light catty notes, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light tropical fruits, resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth, alcohol warmth. Cask Days 2016.

Rating #1578 - 21.03.2015 - On tap at Venice Ale House (3/5). Hazy straw coloured pour, with a billowing white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with orange zest,, toasted wheat crackers. Taste is more of the same, pulpy juicy wheat texture takes on the full character of the beer, with a hint of bitterness. Feels more like a lightly hoppy Wit.

On tap at 10 East - Ive never had a chance to enjoy a beer from El Segundo Brewing and this was a really nice way to get introduced to this brewer. A beer built around a solid hop profile is always ok with me. A strong citrus start, some light cat piss and pine needles. The flavor has a touch of onion-like character to it, but digging a little more theres plenty of citrusy bitterness found in each sip. There is an even malt bill keeping time with the hops, but I would have never guessed it was 50% wheat. What a refreshing beer.

2 finger very creamy thick white head. Insanely cloudy yellow. Nose is light peppercorn and yeasty with a touch of lime. Creamy mouthfeel very close to melted milk shake. Bitterness is intense in the middle to end. Lots of herbal notes. Spicy at the statt. Maybe a little woody. Sublte peach and citrus undertones.

Venice ale house, Venice: pours pale yellow and cloudy. Aroma is lemon, pine, bubblegum. Taste is slightly bitter. It is on the fruity side of IPAs, but the wheat cuts in even further into what you expect from the style. Not bad.
