On tap poured a clear gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of bread, chilis and hint of fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry warming finish. Flavors of bread chilis and light fruitiness with a crisp dry lingering warming finish. A fine example of a well done chili beer! batneil (710) - - JUN 26, 2015
There’s definitely some chilli in this. You get an initial spicy hit on the first mouthful, then there’s an spicier aftertaste. Other than the chilli, there not much going on here though - the spice overpowers everything else. Dogbrick (12936) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 30, 2014
Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing. Peppers and hops in the nose. Light body with flavors of chili pepper, hops and pale malts. The finish is hot and peppery with a lingering burn. I don’t know why I knowingly made this my last beer at the fest, but needless to say it stuck with me on the walk back to the train. Slightly above average overall. GABF 2014. I knew I was in trouble when she only gave me a .5oz pour and said that is all I needed. She was right slowrunner77 (11930) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 17, 2014
Mild aroma of fresh green peppers, so far so good. Take a sip, Holy hell, that’s hot
Not bad, but HOT
"Pretty spicy brew, though not quite at the expense of all other flavors. Sweet malts and peppers though are pretty much it. Not one you could drink pints of, but not bad either."

On tap at Post No Bills in Sand City. Nice golden color with medium white head. As the bartender was pouring he mentioned that it was getting close to the bottom of the keg, and there seemed to be a little more heat. Mild nose with no indication of the heat to come. Very spicy hot to the taste, hitting the mouth but quickly dissipating, but lingering up through the nose. Had just a small sample, but a friend ordered a pint and I was able to finish off the last 4 oz for her,,,even hotter as it sat for a bit. Worth the experience. Pours copper with a thin white head. Nose is light floral hop and a distinctive ghost chili note. The flavor may be something, but you'll never know, because the chili heat will dominate your senses before the light graininess registers. Don't bother if you can't take heat. This stuff is hot, but quite tasty if you can take the heat.

Draft at GABF. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Nose and taste of hot hot chilies, malt, peppercorn and light lemongrass. Medium body. DialSquare (4987) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 6, 2013
On tap at Apex in Portland. Was tasting this for the rest of the night... smell normal, grainy. Taste is big even Chili fire. Interesting to have 2 sips of. Not as offensive as ghost face killah. But long even burn. If chili fire is a style, it’s well done. If not, then it’s kind of offensive. brokensail (16440) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 19, 2013
Golden pour with a white head. Smells hot, almost singes the nose. Nothing else really comes through on the nose. Maybe just a little bit of grainy sweetness. The flavor is absolutely brutal. I like spicy stuff, but this is ridiculous. I could barely choke down a couple small sips. Just a very light grain sweetness.
