Tawny colored, this IPA is true to style. It is very generously hopped with Tomahawk, Centennial, Cascade, and Amarillo hops for and intensely hoppy aroma, flavor and bitterness with a balanced malty flavor.

Picked up a bottle at John’s Marketplace, in PDX. Pours a dingy yellow beige with a huge pillowy off-white head. Nice fresh citrusy hop aroma with a slight husky papery note. Perfumy soapy hop flavor, plenty bitter na d a lingering background grainy malty profile. Quite strong hop character, but more of the soap and chemical kind. A bit of a let down for such a highly rated beer. But still a decent IPA... and that’s no "Bull"

@ Toronado 16-3-4: trevlig frisk humlesmak och balanserad fruktighet. Rätt så trevlig.

Draft at the brewery The IPA pours a clear amber with a white head and big time lacing. The aroma of pine resin and some grapefruit. The blend of hops creates a more complex ale. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The finish was hoppy bitter with both citrus and pine resin. The finish was long lasting. I purchased a six pack for the road.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. A mellow nose of orange and tea. Sweet citrus and caramel, light biscuit and marmalade. Pretty good. Mellow.

Solid IPA that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Admittedly, this is fairly lightly distributed, but still. If you see it, give it a try. Pours a dark amber with a thick grainy head that sticks around for a while. The smell has surprising amounts of sweet, cookie-like malt, and finishes with some citrus and pine from the hops. Tastes delicious- long bitter pine flavor wityh the sweet malt creeping up on the back end, but the long bitter note cuts right through it and is sustained until the end. Much hoppier than it smells. Fairly full bodied in the mouth and the long bitterness keeps things lively. Nice beer.

Pours golden with a frothy white head that stays a while. Aroma is floral hops on a backdrop of mellow malt. Flavor is a touch bitter, but sweet for an IPA: more of an East Coast styled IPA than the explosive hoppy IPAs of the west. Medium body, lively carbonation. Decent brew! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice hazy light copper coloured body with a bit of an amber glow and a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright citrusey and grapefruity hops with a hint of pine and earth, some alcohol and tons of honey notes - smells sweet! Medium-bodied; Nice deep grassy, floral, piney, citrusey hop flavour throughout with a perfect malt backbone showing an excellent balance. Aftertaste shows a bit of flowers, some honey, alcohol and a good light hop bitterness. Overall, a very well made IPA with a great balance of bitter hops and strong malt, leaving a perfect finish of depth throughout. Definitely nice to sample - if you can find it, try it now! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 25-April-2013 for US$2.90 sampled at home in Washington on 19-July-2013.

Ehhhhh.... Nice color. Thin head. Lackluster flavor and hop presence. Alcohol taste. The dude abides

14 karat pour with hints of copper and a small eggshell head. Citrus, caramel, and evergreen. A bit heavy on the malty sweetness. Wanted something a little brighter and more complex.

Misses the mark on the IPA style. Balance isn’t there and the malt has a bad aftertaste.

12oz bottle, thanks kmweaver. Large off-white head atop cloudy amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, pine, orange/grapefruit, some caramel, light lemon. Taste is moderately sweet, pine/lemon, some grapefruit, caramel. Medium body, some resin.
