Pours orange with a creamy white head. The aroma is surprisingly sweet with butterscotch and yeast. The flavor is the same with a little dough and a slight hint of hops in the finish. Rather interesting. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - FEB 24, 2010
Poured a hazy gold color with a small white head. Light buttered toast aroma. Semi-sweet butter scotch flavor. Not as strong and repulsive as the beer prior to this and hopefully not just from a poorly rinsed glass. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 29, 2009
Bottle, Brew 1259. Poured lighter golden orange with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up toasted bready malts topped by a lovely pinch of lemon zest.. great balance of sweet and tangy. The flavor found fruity notes, honey, and sourdough bread at the core with earthy, floral, and lemony bitterness around.. bright and tasty.. well-balanced. Lighter-bodied with a feel that was a touch scratchy and delightfully tart.. felt good. This would make a great session beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body with a one finger fizzy white head that had some decent retention. The nose is a bit off, there’s some soap and light butter notes that are problematic. Beyond that there’s a bit of sweet honey and pale malt with minimal floral hops. The flavor has that same weird soapy, almost chemical, like note that mixes with the bready and biscuity malt not too well. Minimal bitterness and a bit of perfumy character to the hops. Lighter bodied and fizzy with a slightly clingy doughy texture to the finish. Never would have pegged this as a EPA at all. nuplastikk (6277) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 29, 2009
12oz bottle. Murky orange-brown. Mild, dry, soapy aroma. Sandy and toasty, with some light sweet malt and non-aggressive hops. There is some English flavor in there, fruity with a touch of that fining taste, though I would doubt they are used. Pretty good actually, I really enjoyed the medium bodied mouthfeel, not thin and watery some other examples.
