Aroma – Nice malt aroma with good hops flavor.
Appearance – Amber gold in color, Clear, with a thin head.
Flavor – Lots of malt flavor - caramel and biscuit like. Light hops mild fruity.
Palate – Dry finish with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall – Very good beer.
Sampled on draught. Pours really nice, has a crispness to its aroma. Drinks really nice, full of caramel. Don’t taste the malts too strong, but really refreshing. RickTStiles (826) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 5, 2010

Bottle. Poured a dark orange brown with a thick lasting white head. Malty aroma, Malty flavour, but not as sweet as one would expect from the label. A lekker hop tinge and a lasting all over the tongue finish. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAY 12, 2010
clear light orange with a creamy off white head. Faint malt and grain aroma. Slightly sticky palate and a brassy malty taste. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - FEB 24, 2010
Poured a lightly hazed golden amber color with an off-white head. Light citrus notes in the aroma mixed with a semi-sweet toffee malt taste. Mild malty flavor with citrus mixed through. Light-medium bodied. Unibonger (163) - Mount Shasta, California, USA - JAN 31, 2010
Tap. Pours a medium amber with light head with light retention. Slightly fruity, sweet aroma. Flavors reminiscent of iced tea and almost a tiny hint of vanilla ice cream (but not so much as to make it like a flavored brew). Medium body & carbonation. popery (2170) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 25, 2010
Sweet with some complexity of flavor that gets lost in the overwhelming caramel. I didn’t hate this beer, but I struggled with its lack of balance. There is plenty of malt in the flavor and aroma with some lightly roasted notes that I wish were a bit stronger. The abv isn’t high enough for the beer to be syrupy or horribly sweet but it tended in that direction for me. The mouthfeel is fine with appropriate carbonation.
