This draft brew from a restaurant poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a copper brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt and sweet. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of malt. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again. ChainGangGuy (4897) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - MAR 28, 2008
Appearance: Pours a deep amber body with a large, pillowy, whiteish head.
Smell: Very vague aroma, yielding only small hints of pale malts and maybe citrus.
Taste: Incredibly faint flavor, I suppose the politest way to describe it is to use the word "subtle". Weak hop flavor, low bitterness. Watery finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Disappointing. Nothing really grabs you, nothing intices you to drink beyond those first couple sips. Veeve (312) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - DEC 28, 2005
on tap at "Fly Bar" in San Francisco, CA. first thought was that it was just a hella weak beer. little aroma. light florals. tastes of caramel malts, grapefruit and nuts. bitter only at finish. kind of blah and watered down flavors. drinking this was " a STRUG." vyvvy (6524) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 26, 2007
Thanks to Beerdrenched for sharing this. Pours hazy amber with a light tan head. The aroma has grainy apples - red and green, then malt and no hops. Medium body with moderately sharp carbonation. The taste is very sharp and sour with funky apple junk. The finish was even more sour and just off. I hope this was just a old bottle because it was atrocious. mnmike (1086) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Amber beer that drips of caramel and cocoa which is a strange target for this style.

WTF? this beer was awful! for a fairly highly rated amber, it was definately not the same beer. it was definately oxidized, but i could tell that this beer would suck when fresh. pours dark copper with a small fizzy tan head. nose is green apples all the way-infection! this is just awful. 2 sips and drain pour! kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2009
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber body with a large foamy off-white head that took forever to subside. The nose is showing a good bit of diacetyl with a bit of toasted malt. The diacetyl plays a major role in the flavor as well unfortunately, covering up most of what thin malt is present. Just a little bit of sweet toffee and caramel gets by all the butter. Minimal to no hoppiness. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a slick slight clinginess. Not so good, but I have a pretty heavy dislike for beers that show a heavy buttery quality to them. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 23, 2007
