Aroma: roasted dark malts, bitter chocolate, dried fruits. Appearance: black color and thin brown head. Taste: low herbal/resin bitterness, really roasted (something like burnt malt), bitter chocolate, dried fruits, coffee, slightly ashy, smooth and quite dry. Palate: low/medium body and medium carbonation, roasted finish. Overall: Really good classical RIS, complex, nice roasted notes.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2016 Viel Röst, hinten dunkle Beeren, mittendrin Phenolharz!?. Am Ende bitter und schwarz. Solider IS Stuff ohne viel Extras. Optik ein bisschen zu hefig. 0,1/1€ vom Hahn beim 2016er WINTER BEER DAY in HH.

Dark brown color with mocha head. Aroma is malty with dark fruits and some roastiness in the back. Taste follows with dark malts, quite bitter and roasty, some dark fruits and long, bitter, coffee finish and aftertaste. Medium body with medium to low carbonation. A really classic imperial stout.

Woody aroma of coffee and vanilla. Taste is mostly sweet, it leaves a massive aftertaste of coffee, really nice. Quite lively carbonation for a stout. And the label is awesome, of course.
