Bottle at GBBF 2011, Day 1, split with Ken and Paul. Pours a dark, ruby-brown with a massive, off-white head. Toast and caramel nose. Toasty malt flavor, light earthen bitters, some faint fruits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Rich, pleasant finish, malts, toast, fruits. Good stuff. MikeKeller (956) - Kemi, FINLAND - AUG 16, 2011

A bit dull hazy amber looks, bubbles after pouring but only some white head remaining on the surface after a while. Caramel malty and fruity hoppy aroma. Taste is on the sweet side and moderately bitter in the end. Well balanced, medium bodied and a bit oily mouthfeel. Maybe not one to remember without the name and slogan "smells like beer spirit".
Appearance: Dark redish brown. Clear. Ok amount of light tan head.
Aroma: Hops, some caramel and alcohol.
Taste: Sweet, some malt and hops. Caramel? Slightly vinous. Not the typical IPA.

Bottle at GBBF 2011, thanks to Ken. It pours dark amber, with a massive beige head. The nose is piney goodness, citrus, grass and yeast. The taste is caramel, wood, leather, astringency, earth and some green vegetables, with a light bitter-dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A decent IPA. Deep brown/amber color, little fizzy aspect, bulky and resistant head. Fresh caramel and woody notes. Cask and cellar rumors, with little red aged fruits. Realy bitter and moderate alcoholic final.
