Pours a dark copper colour with a small, almost non-existent head. Aroma is very sweet with English toffee, pineapple, bubblegum and some perfume. Flavour of sweet caramel malts, very strong coconut notes, sweet juicy pineapple, some herbal notes and honey. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and low carbonation. Finishes very sweet, warming and malty. Too sweet and I don’t like the coconut notes here. No coconut in my beer, please.
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2015 Color: amber beer with small carbonation and good medium white foam. Smell: malt, bread, nuts and small hoppy presence. Taste: good equilibrium, really drinkable with malt and bread. Aftertaste: malt.

Big coconut aroma, but with some intangible pineapple or other sharp fruitiness. I normally don’t like sorachi ace, but this is remarkably pleasant. Some rye bread and butter too. Hazy orange, but you really have to fight to put a head on it. Smooth palate, sweetish and a bit slick, but the OK carbonation stop oit from becoming cloying. Sweet full malts, a touch chewy, but it keeps the alcohol at bay. The Sorachi ace coconut keeps cropping up but it’s still on the tasty side rather than annoying. I hate to say this for a sorachi ace beer, but I enjoyed this. I just now hope I get off the tram at the right stop!
Hazy amber color. Small off white head. Not much lacing. Huge fruity malty aroma. Malty flavor with some spicy notes. Vanilla and cream. Very good.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 08/2013, at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, 20130523) The beer poured reddish brown and hazy. Its head was very small and white. Aroma had coconut, malts and perfumes. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were coconut, malts, sweetness, some dried plum and medium bitterness. Afteraste was malty and bitter. The beer may have been without the horrid Sorachi Ace. VastActiv (7134) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 12, 2013

Pours dark orange with a tiny white head. Aroma of sweet fruity bubblegum, malts, sweet caramel and syrup. Taste is sweet and malty with notes of fruity bubblegum, hops, caramel and lots of toffee. Finish is sweet, syrupy, bubblegummy and caramely with some toffee and fruity notes. Still not a big fan of Sorachi Ace, which is quite dominant here.
