330 ml bottle from BG Birra, served in a nonic half pint glass. Dark sunrise orange/light amber, pretty hazy, with a tiny, frothy yellow-ish head. Not much one the nose, moderate citrusy hops, slightly floral, perhaps some red fruits (berries), burnt caramel and toffee, but quite fruity all around. Nice balance in the mouth between a resiny and piney hoppyness and a warming, sweet caramel stickyness. Very mild bitterness, light boozy finish. Soft carbonation, on the higher side of medium body, slightly oily texture. The alchool could be more hidden, but overall it’s a well crafted DIPA. Very nice indeed.

Textura oleosa y algo untuosa. Aroma herbal, a caramelo, malta tostada, resina.

Malheureusement, l’astringence domine l’ensemble. Décevant.

Bottle from The Bottle Lab, Leek. Pours a clear amber colour with a thin off white head. Aroma of orange, some pineapple, resin, slight caramel, toasted malts, dark fruits, a little dark berries, herbal hops. Taste of dark fruits, dark berries, some orange, slight resin, a little caramel and herbal hops. Medium bodied and a slick, oily texture. A dryish, dried fruit and herbal hop bitterness in the finish. Very herbal with dark fruits and berries quite dominant. Also an oily, slightly chewy texture. Ok.

Degustata in bottiglia da 75 centilitri. Colore giallo ocra torbido, schiuma pannosa, persistente. Resina all’olfatto, arancia, caco maturo. In bocca subito liquorosa, 9 gradi e mezzo meritati e poco mascherati. Mandorla amara e pepe. Equilibrata con un tocco di brio.

bottle, tnx to my wife
Nice one!. Citrusy and resiny jet fully juicy, fruity at the same time. Pleasant and intense in aroma and flavor. Pale in color, slightly yellow, medium thick foam. Medium to full body. Pleasant bitter, piney finish.
