Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a hazy amber. Aroma is tart, some funk, citrus. Flavor has faint notes of cinnamon, some tartness, faint tea. Mouth feel is light body with fizzy carbonation. Overall, it’s pretty tasty stuff, appears to have brett....

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. This beer pours with some nice oily thick bubbles floating on top, medium orange and good lacing. The nose is chai tea very strongly, sour fruit, allspice, star anise. The taste follows the nose, all of those smells are individually tasted. The sour is on both the front end and the finish and is enjoyable. Lingering taste is awesome. This beer has a great balance between the spice, sour, and fruitiness. I really enjoyed how unique this one is. Chai is definitely used to make this, but doesn’t completely dominate it.

Cavie (4805) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUN 26, 2009
Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Orange color. Very different aroma. Lots of spice in this one. Has almost an olive smell. Taste has a big kick. Sharp feeling on the tongue upfront. Spicy as all hell! Very different but solid.

Sampled 9/24/08. This spiced ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is ginger, cinnamon and some tea. A medium bodied spiced ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and earthy. Nice carbonation. Lots of ginger, cinnamon and clove( ?) flavors. Maybe a little too over the top with the spices, but I am assuming that they were trying to mimic a chai tea. It does have that kind of feel to it. Drinking a 220z bottle of this might be a bit of a chore, there is way too much cinnamon and ginger in this one for my liking. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a ginger aftertaste

Bomber from Hi-Time. BATCH 007 - 35/72 - 07/08. The bottle has lots of Elden Ales graphics. Hazy ripe apricot flesh color with a decent white head. Spicey, almost gingery, aroma. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is medium ginger with some malt going with it. Finishes dry and a bit astringent. Ginger and fruit notes. Love ginger.
