0,5L bottle (shared by suurjuust, thanks!!!). This is the worst beer I have ever tried. This beer almost changed my whole rating system. After trying it, I started to think that I should rerate every beer and give them at least +0,5 or maybe even +1. This one deserves negative score, not 0,5.

Bottle as (Säästu) Kange hele õlu. Clear golden color with a disappearing white head. Aroma of tap water and hay. Mild taste of grain and malt extract. Sticky feel. There’s not much good about it but also no need to pour it down the drain.

Grossi Toidukaubad (red) bottle, 7.0% abv marked. Surprisingly good--nice citrus and clove overtones that mask the expected rough metallic hops. Indeed, were it not for the oily thinness it would be a Belgian Strong. Definitely recommended for the price point...

Marduk (7476) - Reval, ESTONIA - APR 30, 2012
0,5l bottle. Amber color. Medium creamy white head, disappears quickly. Sweet malty aroma, faint metallic scent. Sweet malts as body. Surprisingly easy to drink.

Bottle as "Säästu Kange" 7,0%. Possibly a different brew than the one that has been rated here previously. Very similar to Viru Õlu’s version of the 7% Bear Beer (Harboe): Golden body, minimal head. Sweet malty taste with some cloves. Alcohol quite well covered. If it had a bit richer body it could be confused with Leffe Blonde. But it’s 5 times cheaper.

suurjuust (3504) - ESTONIA - APR 3, 2012
Pale yellow, head quickly dissapears. Aromas of harsh wet cardboard, malt. The taste is some more wet cardboard and malt, although the cardboard is less pronounced there. Some OK hops are there, but the cardboard notes ruin the entrie thing. A cheap strong lager, good for getting drunk and little else.

PET Bottle (thanks SADESA). Deep golden colour with small white head. Aroma is rubber, chemicals and some grassyness. Flavour is mild alcohol, plasticpipe, some malts, glue and rubber. Not very pleasant, but still better than Säästu Pilsner.

PET bottle 2 ltr. BB 01/2009. Golden color, small white head. Diacetylic, grassy and plastic nose. Diacetylic, harsh and plastic flavor. For hardcore hobos only.

500ml Bottle - Golden in colour. Sweetish aroma with some floral and fruity notes along with some malt. Sweetish and slightly sour taste with some lemon and malt. It is drinkable but there is a slightly unpleasant hint to the finish. Slightly gassy and sour. Still, it could be worse. Does not taste its strength.

500ml bottle - thanks SaintMatty!
Golden orange, very brief head. Big sweet fruity aroma, bocky malts. Fairly soft palate, some crispness from the carbonation. A bit alcoholic, but a fair sweet, but almost saccharinny, malty body, creamy in places. Hops are a bit spiky and harsh. More extract than flowers. That spoils the finish a tad. I’d have been happier with less hops, as the creamy maltiness is pretty OK. Doesn’t need to be 7.5% either. And this isn’t by any stretch of the imagination a doppelbock, this is just a European Strong Lager, or even a Malt Liquor.
