COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Oatmeal Pilsner" combines the smoothness of an oatmeal stout and the pale golden color or a German Pilsner. An enormous helping of Nobel hops impart aromas of a fresh cut field whilst English oats and our house yeast give this ale a surprisingly rich finish.

On tap at the Green River fest back in july. Tough to tell from the small sample in the cup, however, golden hue good carbonation. Aromas are sweet, bready, somewhat fruity. Palate is a bit cloying up front with the fruit sweetness, banana, citrus. The mid palate is lacking a bit to hold together a solid long malty finish. I guess the pilsner is giving off that slight bitterness, but the oatmeal more shines with the smooth finish. Very odd.
