Sample (2 oz) at home, thanks to SlovakSniper for this one! Clear bright yellow golden leaving moderate legs. Aroma is of berries, red apples and apple skin with alcohol not being present much. Taste is nicely tart with berries and tart red apples presence along low sweetness level and lemon. Medium body. Still. A tad oily. Tart apples finish with alcohol just showing up a bit for a fun warming presence. Simple, nicely tart red apples/berries cider.

Vintage 2014.

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2016 375mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde. Aroma brings out bone dry apple skins, with a touch of citrus tartness. Flavour is both sweet and sour in good balance, with medium sweet apples balanced by a dry, almost citrusy tartness. Rather nice puckering quality on the finish that becomes more apparent with each sip. Not particularly complex but well put together and scarily drinkable. Very nice.

Bottle @ Home. Thanks, Jake. Pale yellow color with just a slight pinkish hue. Good enough apple to it. Not quite as rich as you usually would expect or like. Somewhat like white wine. Some apple juice, a touch of melon, and a bunch of grape. Decent enough acidity. Just okay.

Vintage 2008
Golden color with a pinkish reflex. Nice aroma of stewed apples, with some citrusy sourness. Sweet and sour apple flavor, the sweetness level is very moderate, the tartness is indeed aggressive on the palate in the end; sweet, but hidden by a stronger acidity. Not complex, but at least sweet-sour, pleasant.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear deep golden with no head. Strange licorice aroma. Medium-bodied, fairly tart apple notes with some sulphur and licorice. Ends tart. An usual cider. 050211
