Tap: orange/amber with medium white head, abv: 7.0. Aroma is citrus and pine hop with a toasted bread malt nose. Flavor is mostly citrus orange/grapefruit with a little pine hop bitter, toasted malt and a nice dry bitter to finish. Palate is slightly sweet with a dry bitter carrying to the end and a malty not too thick mouth feel. This beer is pretty easy drinking for a heavier IPA. I will be drinking much more. Appearance: Slightly hazy amber with a medium sized off-white head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Floral and pine
Taste: Floral and pine resin
Nice and balanced, easy drinking.
Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit and light summer fruit flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Pine and grapefruit lingers with light earth and light malt. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - NOV 6, 2011
On draft at the brewpub. It pours golden orange and a shade lighter than their British IPA with an off white head. The aroma is a nice combination of tropical and citrus hops. The flavor is the same with more emphasis on citrus. The finish is very bitter, dry, and grassy. Nice lacing on the glass and good body/carbonation. I’m impressed. robertjm (914) - Albany, California, USA - OCT 6, 2011
Draft at brewpub (batch #1) - very floral. Piney hop aroma. Resiny flavor. Cascades?? Cloudy rust colored body. Good stuff! Think this is their best beer so far.
