Draft at the brewery. Pours a thin mocha head, of short duration, with a bit of lacing, over a black (SRM 40) body........nose is heavy coffee, chocolate, cocoa, hints of toffee/caramel, and dark fruits (plum, cherry, raisin).....taste is coffee, chocolate, hints of plum, dried cherry, finishing with light figgy sweetness.....mouth feel medium, sticky, alcohol hidden, carbonation low. This is not as complex as the best in this big style, but it is unaged, which is to say very young and it has potential. BJCP 8/3/13/5/7
