Draft at brewpub. Light amber body, not much nose, small head. Light on flavor with good malt/hop balance. Decent quaffer. Drjohnrock (831) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 10, 2007
Draft sampler at brewpub. Faint sour aroma, light body, hops present but not very assertive. I don’t expect an IPA level of bitterness for a pale ale but this was a little light for a plae ale--still, not all that bad. BabyJoe692 (109) - Pickerington, Ohio, USA - DEC 4, 2007
Draft. Clear copper in color. Nice hoppy aroma and a pretty citrusy hop finish ogglethorp (917) - Ohio, USA - AUG 25, 2007

Served on tap at the Oak Room in Athens. Clear copper with a minimal head. A slight hop aroma.Very malty flavor. A bit of cardboard flavor in the finish. frankenkitty (2012) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - JUL 25, 2007
Served with a sticky, ecru head above a bright amber body. Mild, dry citrus to the aroma. Mid-bodied leaning towards thinness. Adequate citric bittering with an English personality and an American twist. Not bad at all for the style and for a sessionable quaffer.

Draft at the brewpub: Light golden amber wtih barely an adhesive foam. Lightly bittered, very much in the British style but with an off-putting mustiness. Eh ... Aurelius (5500) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 16, 2006
Rusty gold. Floral fruity aroma with caramel. Straightforward, but a little bland. Medium lightly sweeet and a little fruity. Bittering builds. Finishes out with a woody bitterness. Session weight.
