Tasted from draft. Pours a nice copper color with white head. Citrus hop aroma of grapefruit and orange with notes of wheat and some sweet caramel. Taste is very well balanced with moderate bitterness with nice malt sweet backbone. Grapefruit, perfume, grains, caramel and toffee flavors. Very smooth and great tasting beer.

Aroma is hoppy and fruity, it smells mostly like citrusy hops (tropical fruit, mango, oranges), along with a bit or bready malt/grain. To me it seems more like a general bready aroma than a wheat one. However, the wheat is a lot more noticeable in the taste. The brew tastes like citrusy hops, wheat, and some light flowery hops and spice. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s a bit slick and creamy, with a good amount of carbonation. On tap during Ohio Brew Week 2013, taster from The CI. Clear orange-golden color. Thin white head. Good lace. Bigger body. Kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Dry finish. Bigger bitter taste, light sweet. Big, citrusy, grapefruity resiny hop character. Some light caramel malts, light spiciness. Not getting much wheat from this, just tastes like a DIPA. Enjoyable stuff, though. bluejacket74 (1993) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - FEB 22, 2013
32 ounce growler picked up from Blacklick Wine and Spirits earlier today. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a clear orange/amber color with about an inch frothy off-white head that sticked around for a while. There’s also a good amount of lacing. Definitely worth a try, I liked it! Evolutionary (509) - Ohio, USA - AUG 20, 2012
Tap at mellow mushroom. Great thick hop nose. Dark golden pour and mild white froth head. Moderate bite and smooth balance. Really a good imperial ipa.
