Poured a nice clear copper color from a 12 oz. bottle. Large foamy head and a small amount of carbonation. Not a great aroma and the taste is pretty flat. Easy to drink but not a lot of flavor depth.
On tap at Elevator in Columbus. Pours copper color. Just enough bitterness for my liking. Loved this one

16 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy light khaki headh with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of nuttiness, raisin, plum, apple, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of nuttiness, raisin, plum, apple, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, an y east earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice Irish red/ESB style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering. edgallow (4154) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 2, 2016

Tap at gratzi. Nose is sweetish and warm. Full body and clean with some malt. Great color. Decent for a red and wouldn't turn away but not amazing. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - OCT 21, 2015
Bottle. Milky caramel malt and hay aroma. Dark amber with small head. Lightly sweet nutty toffee malt and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Medium body. Decent. Tstamba (775) - Maryland, USA - OCT 10, 2015

12 oz bottle. Elevator Bleeding Buckeye Red Ale is a darker red amber beer. Nose is mostly medium roasted malt. Flavor is more of the same with just a faint hop presence. Body is medium and fluid. A decent middle of the road red ale.
