Appearance: Medium to darker brown. Somewhat clear.
Nose: Sweeter caramel malts with hints of nuttiness.
Taste: Sweeter roasted malts. Touch bitters. Touch roasted nuts.
Body: medium to thinner.
Parting thoughts: Rather unremarkable beer. I don’t get the name at all for an amber.

Ok dark beer, but a bit thin & slightly metallic. With so many powerful deep darks out there, this one is simply a middle of the pack contender. From a bottle. Pours hazy brown with a humongous head. This bottle is way overcarbonated, probably by mistake. Aromas are fruity yeast esters, slight wine flavors, and caramel. Flavors are white wine, plum, date, raisin, brown sugar and bready notes. Highly carbonated, lively mouthfeel. Bottle: pours dark mahogany color with a small beige head. Aroma is caramel and nuts. The flavor is much the same, but very sweet, with some chocolate flavors.
