A very good nut brown ale. Good rounded nut flavors with good malty medium mouth body. Nice hearty aroma, good appearance. Evolutionary (497) - Ohio, USA - APR 7, 2012
On tap at restaurant. Good medium brown color and good initial mouthfeel. Very smooth and balanced. Rarely have I had nut taste in my mouth and been so pleased.

Pours a medium darker gold, aroma is malty and earthy with some dark fruit. Flavor is jut like it smells very malty backbone with some earthy tones and a nice hop balance and there is some fruity yeast character. Over all it’s pretty tasty , the mrs approves Dogbrick (12918) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 3, 2002
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2003 Formerly known as Shifty Dando's. Very, very nutty! This was like drinking a peanut. Very sweet roasted aroma and nice color. Good lacing. The nutty flavor will really knock your socks off. daniellunsford (105) - - JUN 6, 2013
Pours a chestnut brown with little to no head. Aroma of metal, nuttiness, and mocha. Taste is that of roasted hazelnuts, a touch of metal, and just the right body. A great nut brown second to Bell’s BB.

I didn’t think this was overly nutty. I rather enjoyed it. It had a dark, warm flavor. Aurelius (5294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 16, 2006
Iced tea brown. Nice, nice subtle choco-floral aroma. Malted milk, slightly sweet, medium bitter, roasty flavor. Session weight. Wee bit waterin the roast-bitter finish. Quite good. dkoonce (911) - People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA - SEP 25, 2006
Dark brown, with a slight malt aroma. Overall a good balance of malt and hops. Fairly heavy. BeerBaronLS (85) - Grove City, Ohio, USA - DEC 8, 2007
On tap at elevator. Not a big fan of this one. Its a little too bitter and not enough roasted malt flavor for me. Rogueone (506) - I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA - MAY 1, 2008
Sampler@ brewpub. Poured dark orange. Very nice looking beer. Aroma of sweet malt and honey. Roasted nutty flavor, hints of honey, a tinge of citrus. Finished moderately dry and bitter. Not bad at all, and I am not a huge brown ale fan.
