Draft - Dark toasty malts. Deep cloudy brown with a rich beige get head. Dark fruit and some malty sweetness. Not very true to style.

edgallow (4377) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 2, 2016
Draft sampler pours light brown with a white head. The aroma is of roasted malt and a decent amount of nuttiness. The tatse had a nice roast malt backbone with a big nuttiness present and a hint of dark fruits and a slight bitterness

chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 31, 2015
On tap at the brewpub. pours clear copper-brown with a good head. Good but not exceptional aroma. Moderate strength. The flavor is a bit bolder and has a nice, lasting roasted grain finish and aftertaste. Enough hops to add flavor in addition to keeping he bitter/sweet balance near even.

Good brown ale. Smooth and balanced. Great poor dark brown with little lacing.

Tasted at 2013 Dayton Alefest- I got it for the name but it was an excellent brown ale. Carmel flavor with an excellent malt flavor on the tongue. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Pours a chestnut brown with little to no head. Aroma of metal, nuttiness, and mocha. Taste is that of roasted hazelnuts, a touch of metal, and just the right body. A great nut brown second to Bell’s BB.

DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Taster on tap at Casa. Kind of an unnerving name. Clear orange-red brown color. Little off-white head. Loose lace. Light bitter taste. Medium body. Crisp carbonation. Kind of a light bite in the texture, slight metallic. Nutty flavor, light hint of chocolate, earthy bitter hop. OK. Not great. Not much to it.

Pours a medium darker gold, aroma is malty and earthy with some dark fruit. Flavor is jut like it smells very malty backbone with some earthy tones and a nice hop balance and there is some fruity yeast character. Over all it’s pretty tasty , the mrs approves
