Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is of malts and spices. Flavor is malty, slightly nutty, and slightly hoppy with a holiday spice finish. Very good. Dogbrick (13751) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 27, 2009
Several mugs from a 5g keg, and my 400th Ohio beer. The beer is a mostly clear brown-amber color with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes steadily. Spice and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of sweet malt and spices, piney hops and a bit of fruit. The finish is sweetly spiced wit a mild hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon. Flavor of nutmeg, spices and malt. Alcohol is well hidden. Ok, but too heavily spiced. douglas88 (9622) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 8, 2012
12 ounce bottle, a cool snowman on the label. Pours a dark copper color with a medium beige head. A sweet caramel and spiced candy nose. The flavor is very nice; sweet caramel, light apricot, some spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, nothing too huge. Smooth and tasty.

12 oz bottle. Dark red; medium smooth beige head; negligible lacing. Nondescriptly spicy nose; vegetable; pumpkin? Flavor bready malt with the same sweet spiciness and vegetable notes; medium bitter piney hop finish. Medium mouthfeel. Not a bad beer but I’d never buy this as a 6-pack. On tap at the brewery. Amber pour, white head. Aroma of christmas spice, brown sugar. Tastes of maple, caramel, chistmas spices, roasty, light bitter. Wittales (884) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - FEB 10, 2015
Appearance was clear reddish brown with creamy beige diminishing 1/2 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, all spice with soft caramel malts. Taste are spices upfront then hints of crystal and caramel malt middle. The finish is warming alcoholic one:( Palate was soft smooth creamy CO2 with medium body, then alittle slick off balanced finish. Overall a solid effort, the finish needs to be softer in alcohol. drsordr (2861) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - NOV 26, 2016
