Thanx oh6gdx. Hazy brown in color, bubbly beige head, lacings. The aroma is hoppy and almost juniper berry like. The flavor is sweet and malty with a distinct hoppiness. Bullit (4686) - Buffalo, New York, USA - AUG 2, 2008

Very dark ruby color, good tan head. Coffee, prune and caramel in the nose. Light palate, but not that light than expected from 3.6 % beer. Roasted flavor, slightly caramelly - very dunkel-like brew. Oily mouthfeel giving sort of low alcohol feeling.

Aroma: Toffee, coffee, prunes.
Taste: Vinous fruit, kinda. Malty. Coffee.

Malty and light roasted aroma. Very dark brown color, beige head, good lace. Light malty, light roasted, hints of laurel and burnt twigs. Bit watery but what do you expect with only 3.6% ABV.
Dec, 2002 From this fifth generation family owned East Anglian small brewery comes this award winning traditional dark mild. A good woody nose with a hint of dark fruits, and a wonderfully smooth but full flavoured palate with a gentle sweetness to offset the roasty, nutty flavours, and a zippy touch of iced lemon tea to clean the mouth. A very refreshing and fulsome brew. [3.0] DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2008
Rummaging in the BHS selection bucket again. Nose roasted but sweetly chocolatey, with vanilla and oak aplenty. Virtually pitch and heaped with beige froth. Faint bonfire and coffee smokiness, grain and tobacco. Aftertaste sweet, lingering, mealy and milky, but I like it. Characterful, stouty, schwarzbier-like mild of the kind you could drink by the bucketload all evening without falling over. shoestring (427) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - DEC 26, 2007
Nice deep dark murky opaque ruby brown. Beige head which disspiates and laces after minute. Malty bready, caramel biscuit aroma. Sticky palate indeed. Nice mild.
