Earth caramel notes. The toffee and light hops give it a decent flavour and it works in the bottle supprisingly well. Easy drinking refreashing bitter. john44 (3456) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2017

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. From Beers of Europe. Pours clear chestnut red-brown with a thin ring of white head. Aromas of toffee and malt, faint digestive biscuit. Taste is caramel, light almonds, red fruit. Ok. kathouse (1942) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - NOV 27, 2016
Nice golden color with a white foam. Aroma is very light hop and sweet malt. Flavor lacks complexity but beats drinking water.

Nice solid bitter, easy drinking with a refreshing finish. Bit of bite to it but not too bitter. imdownthepub (15524) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 3, 2014
Bottled, 500ml from The Co-Op, Banbury. Brownish to amber with off white head. This proved to be a simple bitter, although with a touch of metallic, tinny notes. English hop notes, earthy, leafy with a thinnish malt body. Never really sure that a quaffing bitter really works in a bottle but drinkable.
