Bottle. Very bitter lemon-citrus hoppy ale with malty base. Flowery, earthy citrus hops. Biscuity, caramelly malt. Assertive lingering bitter dry hoppy finish. Not for me! (2008)

Bottle from Cambridge Wine Merchants Kings Parade. Dark gold and almost clear. Very little head. Malt, lemon and a bit of tropical fruit. Bitter taste with quite a bit of sweet malt. Bitter aftertaste. Very unexciting if refreshing. The cask version is far superior. daniele (9021) - ITALY - JUL 24, 2015

(Bottle). Aroma and taste of hops, toffee and caramel malt. Typical English taste of Goldings but with a fresh note of Cascade. dogbomb (1215) - ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2013
Bottle. Large fluffy white head and a golden body. Nose has caramel notes and a light touch of fruit. In the mouth, more caramel, but bags more fruitiness. Tangerine and light lemon. Nothing too radical here, but a really nice solid sup-per with a strong sweet finish. RichardGretton (4755) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2012
Bottle. Amber beer with strong white head. The aroma is lightly malty, and the flavour is bitter with caramel maltyness. Overall a reasonable beer.

Bottled, 500ml from a Co-Op in Peterborough, Cambs. Orange gold with thin head. Sharp, slightly tinny flavour initially with the general CO2 driven flavours. Some hop notes, hints of banana and pear drop perhaps with a boiled vegetable flavour. Ok but the pasteurisation is a bit harsh. madmitch76 (24360) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 9, 2012

Cloudy orange - gold beer. Crisp palate. Well balanced. Even malt, creamy. Leads straight in to orangey hops. Dry finish with a mildly bitter aftertaste. Standard stuff but well constructed.
