The beer has a prominent hop character; a blend of Fuggles, Goldings and Cascade has been used in the recipe to bring the delicate hop flavours & aroma to the fore. The use of Cascade gives a pleasing citrus aroma. Finest pale Maris Otter malt has been blended with Wheat malt and Rye Crystal to provide a full flavoured beer. The lavish use of late hop dominates the malt flavour and results in a satisfying pint.

A clear golden colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma of malts and fruits. A some spices. The taste is dry bitter, fruity like citrus. It´s grassy too. The aftertaste is long bitter and grassy.

Bottle from Morrisons. Gold with a good lacey white head. Chrisp and refreshing with a noticable tangy wheat edge. Plenty of hop characture too. A very enjoyable beer from the fridge.

bembelembe (219) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 14, 2009
Orange color, bit hazy. Light body. Dominant fruity-herbal taste. Grassy-bitter finish. Has some traces of honey sweetness, corn and caramel aroma. Light carbonation. Quite drinkable beer.

[50cl bottle from Morrisons.] Straw with a ring a white head; sour grain aroma with a hint of citrus; prickly in the mouth with a sweet caramel flavour at frst and then some grapefruit bitterness. Clean and satisfying finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Clear golden with a small, rough off-white head. Somewhat sulphurous vegetable aroma. Light body with a discreet underlying fruitiness before a dry and astringently bitter finish. 220808

Bottled@Monks Café, Stockholm. Pale ambery orange golden colour with small beigeish head. Aroma is hops, mild herbs, grass and some mild notes of caramel. Flavour is hops, grass, mild caramel along with some wood and sap (not as sweet as birch sap though). Mild grassyness in finish.

DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2008
Bottle thanks to mesandsim. Aroma is really hoppy, citrus and grassy, american style pale ale character alround. Taste is similar, very appealing indeed, the hop character is really good and exactly what i like in a beer. Very unexpectidly good.

UPDATED: APR 18, 2010 Bottle, shared by fonefan. A clear, golden beer with a decent off-white head. Butterscotch, pale malt, some cookies and a citrusy hoppyness in the aroma. The flavor is much the same, finishing with citrus and some bitterness. Medium lenght. Medium body. Far from a winner, but quite drinkable and with some refreshing qualities. Rating: 5-3-5-3-11-2.7. 080822

Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, white head. Citrusy and flowery nose with biscuity malts and something reminiscent of honey. Biscuity pale malts in the mouth, medium body fullness and with citrusy hops that don’t add much bittterness. Some peppery notes too. A quite tasteful and quenching beer, obviously in better form than the last time I had it. Still, nothing special. 091120
