Bottled 20/07/13. An amber coloured beer with a white head. Failry sweet with caramel and toffee. Some late banana flavours. Lots of boiled sweet pasteurisation notes. Quite ordinary although it does have a big body and a long finish. zacgillbanks (5726) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUL 27, 2013
Bottle from Sainsburys, Team Valley. A golden beer with sweet, sugary fruity flavours, toffee notes and more sweetness on the finish. The_Osprey (9854) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2013
Jan 2013 - bottle. Perhaps I’m not drinking it at the right time of year. Light body, lightly malty and a bit watery, not a great deal of hops. Not much bitterness, but perceivable maltiness. Certainly drinkable, but no exciting flavours or anything interesting or different. Generic and inoffensive. Grzesiek79 (4511) - Radom, POLAND - FEB 6, 2013
Dobre i wytrawne piwo, choć mało gożkie i trochę jakby słabo nachmielone. Wiadomo, może to za sprawą letniej odmiany która powinna być ożeźwiająca. imdownthepub (15640) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2012
Bottled, 500ml from Sainsburys in Banbury. Amber with slightly fizzed head. Heavily pasteurised beer, quite tinny and sharp initially with general CO2 flavours. Some cara-malt character with a hint of sour grain and bread. There is a sharpness in the close perhaps, lemon maybe but overall somewhat disappointing.

Bottle pours a clear light amber with a billowy off-white head. Aroma is mild malty, some toffee, with modest hops & some citrus elements. Taste is a light sweet bitterness that lasts nicely; bit of caramel and grass in there too. joe19612 (3156) - Camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2012
Bottle from Sainsburys. Pours a orange gold colour with a medium sized head, faint fruity aroma, taste is bitter with a light dry finish. BlackHaddock (8073) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2012
Clear 500ml bottle: best before Sept 2013, poured into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged vase shaped pint glass on 10th Oct 2012 @ home.
Golden blonde body with a full, deep creamy head of off-white foam topping it off nicely.
The nose is a blend of hop notes: floral and fruity with sweeter biscuity malts also playing a part in the aromas.
The taste is again a mix of flavours: initially semi-sweet then a hop dry and bitterness asserts its self somewhat and that carries on into the aftertaste.
Refreshing more than interesting: a hoppy, middle of the road Pale Ale that flatters to decieve: not as exotic as the front label implies anyway!
Might be good with a curry: didn’t match with my soft cheese (Light Philadelphia with garlic and herbs) and salted biscuits too well. Leighton (23090) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2012
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear, rich gold with a fine, white foam head. Bready malt nose, toasty hay, light grains. Light sweet flavor, lots of toasty biscuits, some light dry grass, light cereal. Kind of reminiscent of a lager, in fact. Light bodied with averagew carbonation. Crisp, clean finish, lots of that lightly doughy, pasteurised beer character, some toast, cereal, mild veg, toasty straw, mellow grass. It’s an OK beer. It’s very easy drinking, there’s a decent bitter edge there, and the bready malt character is pretty appealing. martinrumsam (572) - BARNSTAPLE, Devon, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2012
