The_Osprey (8454) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 1, 2016
Cask HP at The Crosse Keys Bishopsgate as ’Elgoods Indian Summer’. Dark amber orange/brown, translucent, still with a scummy beige head, leaving very full lacing. Aroma is airy, sugary, light honey. I’m searching. Body is pretty smooth with tingly carbonation for cask. Taste is chewed white bread, pastries, slightest touch of bleach and soap, watery hop tea, soft bitterness. It’s ok. I could drink a lot if it. It’s a grower - I liked it more towards the end of my half. Still, nothing to write home about.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2011
Cask conditioned Handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A light amber coloured beer with an off-white head. Creamy and fruity in the nose. Similar in the mouth. There are berry notes but that creaminess makes it over sweet in places. Having said that it’s drinakble enough.
