On tap at Wynkoop. Amber and clear appearance with a beige head and light lacing. Aroma and flavor of chili peppers, malts, toffee, light caramel and light smoke. Mild heat. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. OK.

Clear dark amber with a little white head. Aroma is nice with tones of earthy carmel, roasted green pepppers (no spice), sweet toffee, and some crystal malts. Flavor was mild and smooth but eccentric, well crafted and pretty full flavored for its light body. Nice roasted caramel and toffee tones lead into a peppery roasted poblano note with some good earthy caramelly sweetness, and some delightful but smooth peppery tones.
