This beer kept me in a state of suspended judgment and extended cogitation. Nice bronzed body with a unique IPA hop profile, probably from the emphasis of the Tettnanger hops among the hop trifecta. Twangy and piny in aroma and flavor with equal parts Swiss Mountain and Buckley, WA country hoedown.

Growler; thanks to bvc for sharing; pours dirty orange with slight haze and trace white bubbles forming on the edges; fruit juicy hops on the nose; stale malts, lemons, bready; texture is thin with light flavors of stale fruits; raw, dry finish is slightly bitter; like the nose, but flavors come off a little grassy and stale bvc (1244) - Washington, USA - JAN 7, 2010
Growler that I picked up at the brewery. Pours a hazed honey golden with a touch of a gray tint to it and a loose light ivory white head. Nose is super juicy and fruity with light citrus but mostly tropical fruit...pineapple, mango, star fruit. Kind of get spruce as well. A bit under carbonated but good feel to the body. A touch wheaty and gritty with some earthiness. Grass, hay, and the big tropical notes on the nose are very mellow. Decent session ipa that has an awesome nose and would be even better with a touch more carbonation and more of the hops showing through in the flavor.

Hey, something disagreed with my stomach on this day...maybe they really do put liberty caps in this thing. But for the sake of legalities we’ll presume the name refers to the peak on Mt Rainier. Cloudy amber. Light woody aroma. Low bitterness for style. Woody cascade signature. Some caramel maltiness. Good, but at the light end for an IPA. TPaliga (212) - Munster, Indiana, USA - OCT 26, 2006
Pretty good IPA. Poured amber gold with thin head. Hoppy aroma with sweet malt back. Flavor much the same. Nice medium body with slightly sticky finish. 19Ei8hty (1166) - Washington, USA - OCT 11, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 4, 2008 Really decent IPA - very smooth, nice unfiltered look, holds a head very well. The flavor is somewhat blah with plenty of hop taste and a heavy malt backbone. Definetly not kick-in-the-face bitter. One of my new favorites. Plenty of citrus notes with some floral hints.
