spacecube (1732) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 26, 2013
Cask conditioned, black pour, chocolate & some coffee in the nose, good carbonation, nothing outstanding, but a very decent porter and the best I had last night. A very good beer.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 16/11/12. Light black with a thin tan head that retains well. Nose is slightly muted, roast malts, molasses, liqourice. Taste comprises roast malts, bitter dark chocolate, touch of smoke, liqourice, dark fruits and sugars, a little treacle. Full end of medium bodied with fine carbonation leading to a dry finish. Ok porter.

Drunk at Birmingham Beer Festival. Very drunk. I don’t really remember drinking this so it’s a good job I made lots of notes about it. Porterish. Odd that.

AndrewC (376) - Canterbury, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2012
Bottle conditioned from Brighton of all place. Man this is good. Hint of sourness. Hint of Cointreau. Aroma of sour plums and cream. Big mouth of roasted malt with a tart bite. Not viscous and quite gulpable really. Long bitter lemon peel and roasted malt sour finish. Brilliant. Beats the hell out of Westvleteren 12.

Black, beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, and port. Taste is chocolate cake and port. Viscous, very smooth.

Off cask at the Wellington Birmingham. Quite tasty porter, a smudge of coffee at the end and some dark chocolate. Nice.

TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 26, 2012
Cask at HWBF. Back with light cream tan head. Chocolate coffee and burnt toast. Nice thickness. Probably the best beer at The Heriot WattBeer fest of 2012.

BenH (3436) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 23, 2012
Cask at HW. Black with egg shell head. Aroma has mostly chocolate, hint of coffee and slight licorice. Taste has chocolate, coffee, licorice and molasses. Slightly smokey. Clean finish. Bit flat for me but pretty good
