Cask conditioned at Catford Beer Festival. Slightly sweaty golden ale, melon and grapefruit in the aroma and the flavour. Some astringency, hop finish. Good quality golden ale. Benefits from being in the cask greatly.

Bottle. Yes, pale with medium sized head. A relatively highly carbonated british bottle conditioned ale!? Hops dominate this beer from the beginning to the very long bitter and dry finale. Medium bodied.

Cask, Out of the Vaults, Leicester. Golden with a bubbly white foam. Aromas are light malts with lots of sweet, spicy hops. Dry and bitter. Flavours are dry and very bitter, this is well hopped. Has bitter grapefruit and a dry finish. A good one for hop heads.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A hazy dark orange beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, while the flavor is roasted and very nutte, but also with some smoked notes.
