UPDATED: DEC 31, 2010 Cask-conditioned, gravity dispense at The Sultan, London SW19. Dark fruity mild from the end of the cask. Getting lots of fruity flavours & a hint of yeast; pretty sure I’m not catching this at its best.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Evening Star Brighton. A black coloure mild with a beautiful white bubbly head. The aroma is a little thin although there are some roasted malts in there. Nutty brown in colour with a creamy head, the aromas are light, floral and typical of a mild. Flavours are smooth, nutty with some chocolate. There a quite a deal of hops on the finish. A good mild.
