Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Copper colour with white head. Heavier, maltier type bitter, with a malty sweetness then really drying, peppery hops, some citrus fruity notes, crisp, grassy. A good decent bitter.

OStreetBrewery (120) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 1, 2006
Bottle from Rumbles . tasted Nov/06. Pours a hazy peach gold. Bit of a clarity issue going on. Big exuberant head that seems intent on leaving the pint. Complex aroma with citrisy hops, caramalt notes and hint of stonefruit. Hop flavour , a touch of malt sweetness and then a massive woody bitterness on the palate. Truly a bitter bitter. Good beer, perhaps a touch more malt on the mid palate would ballance it out alittle, but well worth trying.

Tasted 14/08/2006. 500ml bottle from Rumbles, Wellington. Copper, not quite bright, with a thick white long-lasting head. Very lacy. Sweet perfume of caramel, grainy pale malt and citrus. Well balanced and delicious. Luscious sweet malt in the mouth with a very strong, prickly spicy hop through the middle. Powerfully bitter in the finish, with an iron-like intensity that stops short of harshness. edium-full body and light carbonation give the beer a creamy mouthfeel. Excellent highly hopped pale ale, thats travelled well.

A hazy orange beer with a huge off-white head. The flavor is sweet dusty from the hops. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of straw. An OK Bitter.

500ml bottle (not bottle conditioned). Plenty of fluffy white head. Amber colour. An interesting hop combination, but while there is a slight spiciness, the aroma is rather insubstantial. The palate and finish is quite austerely dry. A refreshing drink, which I enjoyed, but not a lot of complexity. From beersinabox.com.
