First off a little history lesson, the merrie city is in actual fact, Wakefield. Now to the beer, a lovely golden hue, and very lively the liveliness, makes for semi head retention, a very distinctive beer, quite perfume tasting with a quite a long finish and very refreshing

Cask handpull, The Salmon, Leicester, 16/11/12. Grass, thistle, polished pine aroma. Subtle orange and thistle tang; lovely ripe grassiness on biscuit. Thin-headed gold trailing lace. Soft and discreetly hoppy like a really good lager. Decent.
