330ml Bottle: Sweet aroma of yeast, toasted malts, dough, caramel, and slight pepper. Poured orange/brown/amber in color with a medium-sized, fluffy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of small particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of light caramel, yeast, dough, and toasted malts. Medium body. Thin, oily texture. Soft to average carbonation. Lightly sweet, yeast, caramel, and toasted malt finish. 8.5%ABV is unnoticeable. harrisoni (19534) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2009
33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy amber with a few floaters that quickly sink to the bottom. Thin lasting beige head. Yeasty aroma. Little bit of toffee. It’s alright in the mouth. It’s got a bit of toffee and a bit of hop on the end and some yeast character. It gets a bit better as it goes down, but overall a bit too sweet. MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAR 23, 2009
(33cl swing top bottle) Hazy, particle-laden amber coloured hue with a thick beige foamy head. Sweet and moderately toasted malty aroma with caramel and a molassy touch, accompanied by ethereally spicy notes in the background. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a well-carbonated and matured mouthfeel. Toast-malty, quite Bock-like caramelly and slightly sugary taste. Malt-accented, toasty and very subtle fruity finish with peppery and slightly herbal spice. All in all a rounded BSA (23.III.09). pivnizub (10905) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAR 13, 2009
Bügelverschlußflasche: Russet, small creamy off-white layer, hazy with lots of floaties; sweet nose: sugar, caramel and sweet wine, alcohol in the background; moderate to solid sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; light tart influences in the sweet and fruity finish, sorrounded by warming alcohol. Sweet and not convincing......... fata2683 (2202) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - FEB 12, 2009
bottle, pours brown with a small tan head. Aroma is full of dark fruit and spice. Sweet and spicy flavors dominate the mildly bitter finish. Lots of candy sugar and cinnamon notes. Some clove and nutmeg hints as well. Not bad.

Unattractive muddy brown. Sweet, yeasty malt aroma. Caramel malt taste with some orange, a not altogether pleasing hint of alcohol and a clunking mid bitter finish. Must have been the grey, windy, chilly winter’s day, but this utterly failed to delight me. FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 10, 2008

Deep orange, poured clear, and with no head. Slightly gluey estery aroma. Candisugar and malt too. Lively carbonation. Sweet malty and caramel immediate taste. Burnter caramel comes over later, and finally a pleasant, but slightly indistinct hoppy bitterness joins the fray. Aroma gives more hints to the alcohol strength than the taste does, both are reasonably well reined in. Not as full bodied as I would like from an ambree, but at least its not too sweet, unlike some. Passable, but not exceptional. Travlr (26406) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 28, 2008
Purple haze. Large white head. Sweet-sour with malts and orange peel. Malty finish. Decent. Eructoblaster (4454) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 27, 2008
Bottle - 330ml. Nice cloudy amber body with low carbonation and a thin off-white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma that hides alcohol pretty well. Sharp hoppy taste with yeasty and bready notes. Ends with a long, warming bitter finish. Enjoyable.
