Deep orange, poured clear, and with no head. Slightly gluey estery aroma. Candisugar and malt too. Lively carbonation. Sweet malty and caramel immediate taste. Burnter caramel comes over later, and finally a pleasant, but slightly indistinct hoppy bitterness joins the fray. Aroma gives more hints to the alcohol strength than the taste does, both are reasonably well reined in. Not as full bodied as I would like from an ambree, but at least its not too sweet, unlike some. Passable, but not exceptional. Travlr (24875) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 28, 2008
Purple haze. Large white head. Sweet-sour with malts and orange peel. Malty finish. Decent. Eructoblaster (4205) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 27, 2008
Bottle - 330ml. Nice cloudy amber body with low carbonation and a thin off-white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma that hides alcohol pretty well. Sharp hoppy taste with yeasty and bready notes. Ends with a long, warming bitter finish. Enjoyable. LordCorkscrew (1774) - Ronco Scrivia (GE), ITALY - NOV 16, 2008
Bottle at 3 små rum,Thanks Reza: Hazy red colour, with a flat head. Aroma of caramel, yeasty, fruity, flowers, some dust and earty nose. Flavor is almost the same here. Nice medium body, thin to medium fruity/caramelly finish. Nice.

Bottled. Poured deep amber with a hazy complexion.. plenty of protein suspended in there.. nice cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up medium-skinned fruits and apples with a sweet bent to it.. dry, spicier yeast throughout.. bit of orange meat and prickly pear at the back. The flavor had a sour component throughout that didn’t do much at all for me.. mostly fruit skin and light vinegar in there.. pale malts joined corn syrup and orange meat at the core.. warmer on the back with spices and sourness standing out. Medium-bodied and syrupy for the most part on the palate.. balance was never really there with the sour interjections. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 22, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2008 The aroma is sweet with caramel malt, brown sugar, flowers, yeast, and vinegar. The appearance is hazy brown with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall it’s pretty good but nothing special. sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - AUG 12, 2008
Pours cloudy amber/copperish with beige head.Aroma is malty butterscotch and yeasty.
Taste is roasted malts, grainy and fruity (apricot, orange, citrus), with a few sediments floating around.
Reminded me a lot of La Divine. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 27, 2008
From my notes from my belgianshop order. Hazy amber color with a big head.(notes didnt include color, sorry). Aroma is bread, toffee, fruit and flavor is very similar. Sweet taste, but not cloying. Really not bad, but not great. BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUL 22, 2008
