Sigmund (7960) - Tau, NORWAY - DEC 10, 2017
330 ml swingtop bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, as Legendes Quintine Blonde. Ellezelloise is not mentioned anywhere on the label. ABV is 8%. Hazy golden colour with lots of floaties. Moderate white head. Strong aroma of Belgian ale yeast, spices and overripe and decaying yellow fruits. The fruity and spicy flavour is better than the aroma, notes of ripe yellow fruits, fairly distinct bittering hops.

SylvainCFC (358) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 18, 2017

A good Blonde, relatively strong, with a tender bitterness, which differentiates it a bit from the others.

vsyrbu (141) - MOLDOVA - JUN 30, 2017
Intensive aroma of Belgian yeast and wheat. In taste, wheat, bread, yeast, slightly sour, bitterness of hops and something of a florals. Very good

20 years ago, I would have loved this. It would have met every tick in the criteria. Slightly malty aroma mainly with some slight hay, cereal. Some grassy nobles hops underneath. Mouthfeel is not sweet, esters are a bit high, some slight hint of ripe citrus and banana.

By no means is this bad. It’s a well made beer. But it is incredibly boring
