Overall, its an average sweet strong ale, dont get much of the oak but you do get the vanilla, maybe mix in some malts to cut the sweetness and add more character to the beer. Drinkable but not something you seek out. SudsMcDuff (8388) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Had on draft @ the Ellicottville brewpub in Ellicottville, NY .. . light wood, oak, and vanilla .. . good definition .. playful and damned unique, very tasty, especially for a brewpub!

Draft at the Brew pub in Ellicottville on Brew tours 2012. After the sampler trays. We split 3 pints. This one was Dan H’s pick. It was a nice powerful malty full bodied ale. The sweet malty flavor help hide the ABV. But it did affect me as I was easily talked into buying an expensive T-shirt on the way out. Good stuff.
