Our newest addition to our family of craft beers. A light golden ale, crisp on the palate with a refreshing blueberry aroma and flavor. Surprisingly different that most people expect. A sure winner!

Caytinator (1005) - Waco, Texas, USA - JUN 9, 2015
12oz bottle. Pours a dark, clear, golden yellow...pours a reasonable head that burns off completely. Smelly -- fruity, duh. Taste is aight, drinkable, but not exceptional. Palate is fairly thin and short -- overall a decent blue-berry beer.

355 mL bottle. Pours straw with an off white head. Nose is artifical blueberry, wheat malt and a little chewing gum. Sweet through and through. Light body and moderate carbonation. Strange and synthetic. Pass.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold body under a minimal fizzy white head that completely vanished. The nose is pretty huge on the blueberry, so much so that it just doesn’t seem natural. Not much making it past the fruit on the nose. The flavor is much more bland than I was expecting given how strong the aroma is. Just a boring filtered wheat beer with a bit of blueberry candy like sweetness on the back end. Light bodied but with a bit of clinginess on the back end and soft fizzy carbonation. Not enough going on here to excite me.

Transfer from BA review on 3-30-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden-yellow color with a two finger fluffy white head. The head fades relatively quickly leaving a lighter level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a blueberry nature mixed with some grainy wheat aromas. The blueberry is quite potent, but not overly sweet and has a nice almost drier smell as there are only lighter notes of a more caramel and sugary sweetness. Taste – The taste begins with a flavor of a light wheat and blueberry flavor. The nose is heavier then the taste however, with the flavors being relatively subdued in comparison to the smell. The blueberry gives way with the wheat growing slightly stronger as the taste moved on from the beginning to the end. All the while a lighter sugary sweet taste that is upfront fades to the end with a slight bit of acidic and light bitter flavor comes to the tongue at the end of the taste leaving a dry blueberry wheat taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is very light and crisp with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. Both are quite nice for the blueberry and wheat flavors of the brew and make for a refreshing style brew. Overall – This would be a nice beer for a hot summer day as it is light, fruity and refreshing. Other then on a warm day in summer however this is one I would not go to on any great occasion as it is a little lacing in the flavor department.

355ml bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a touch of fine sediment, and neatly no head. Aroma is a bunch of blueberries with very slight wheat. Taste is balanced. A bit bready with blueberries, and some more traditional hops. Medium body and carbonation. Pretty clean in the mouth. Overall a well balanced, Blueberry beer.

It is rare to find a wheat beer this good. The aroma is the only really sweet part of this beer. The blueberry flavor is present, but not overpowering of fruity. It's so well balanced. Nice job!

Soapy beer that tastes of little but perfumed blueberries. Aftertaste is dishwater. Awful.

12 oz. bottle through my beer club. Pour is golden mostly clear with a finger of white head. Aroma has a blueberry cereal thing going on. Perfume aroma with a hint if malt. Taste is wheaty with plenty of blueberry sweetness. Crisp and dry finish, good carbonation. Good for drinking by the pool, not my favorite style, but a decent example of it.

It forms a thin white head that quickly fades leaving just a few small bubbles on top. The body has a light golden color with very good clarity. The aroma has a big blueberry nose up front with mild leafy hops and then some light wheat notes in the background. The blueberry, which is up front in the aroma, is more mellow or complementary in the flavor. The sweet/tart blueberry flavor is balanced well with spicy, almost peppery hop flavor and some tangy wheat flavor notes as well. Its body has a very drinkable light to medium body with a nice active carbonation and a slow finishing tart to bitter fading aftertaste. I really enjoyed balance on this beer. I loved that the blueberry that was big and bold in the aroma but didn’t overpower the flavor of the beer or get lost altogether.

6-pack from brewery, gift from a co-worker. Clear golden with little head. Aroma is actually pretty nice, with (artificial?) blueberry. The taste was solid enough; enough blueberry to make it interesting. Drank a couple of these on a hot summer day and I had no complaints.
