Our newest addition to our family of craft beers. A light golden ale, crisp on the palate with a refreshing blueberry aroma and flavor. Surprisingly different that most people expect. A sure winner!

Ugh...terrible fruit beer. I’ve had blueberry beers that were phenomenal. This is far from. Aroma was very weak and distant. Just a hint of blueberries that was hard to detect. It was more floral than fruit. Pour was a near white with no bubbles and no head. Taste had a little more blueberry than the aroma led me to believe but the mouthfeel was too thick and heavy and had a perfume aftertaste. Blah.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear and golden, 1 cm of bubbly head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is terrible, beyond skunk, think porta-john. Flavor is pretty impressive though with obvious blueberry, malt, biscuits, and a hint of hop bitterness at the end. Minimal lacing, moderate carbonation, light body, and light alcohol is hard to pick up on. Overall, the smell really turned me off, gross, but it tasted good, so its iffy.

Immediately smell the blueberry as soon as pored, taste is quite nice with the blueberry coming at the end, not much head, no lacing on glass, golden light copper color. not a bad brew

I’ve had better blueberry wheat beers. I wasn’t that impressed by this one. It needed to be a little sweeter, and the hops were not well in balence of the berries. Slightly bitter end.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2010 This was an outstanding beer!!! I loved it!! It is like a blueberry muffin in a glass. I am reminded of the box of muffin mix as a kid. It smells just like the can of berries that came in the box! I very easy drinking brew that is exceptional. The only thing I would warn against is that you may become tired of this one quickly, so pace yourself. This one is too good to overdo.

Did you like to drink your cereal flavored milk after you ate your cereal as a kid? Have you ever ate a bowl of Boo Berry? Ever drank that milk? Imagine you ate a bowl of Boo Berry in beer, and you drank that afterward. There you go.

bottle - Pours clear, pale gold with a one finger white head. It smells of pale malt and blueberries. The blueberries are very noticeable in the taste though not overwhelming. There is also some biscuity malt flavor. It’s light bodied and mildly hopped with some decent bitterness in the finish, but I’m not crazy about the character of the hops used.

If you’re looking for a beer that taste just like blue berry, this is it......period.

Bottle and served in standard pint glass: A straw hued beer with a huge initial fizzy head (over carbonated) which left shockingly little lace upon the glass. The aroma has a nice blueberry pie character, doughy, light spice, and some grassy herbal hop background. The taste is fruity has expected but there also is a spicy and moderate bitterness too. Supported by pale malt and wheat, not one-dimensional IMO. The aftertaste needs to be cleaner however, a bit soapy. The mouth feel is LIVELY (again over carbonated) and a chalky. Not too bad, drinkable, but then I like most blueberry beers I try.

Straw color; small, fizzy, white head; moderate lacing. Aroma blueberry and light grass, but that’s about it. Flavors of blueberry, bready malts, and some light but bitter hops through the finish; at least the blueberry flavor tastes genuine. Light-bodied, fizzy, and a tiny bit sticky. Easy to drink but that’s all that’s going for this.
