Our newest addition to our family of craft beers. A light golden ale, crisp on the palate with a refreshing blueberry aroma and flavor. Surprisingly different that most people expect. A sure winner!

A light golden ale with a crisp white head. It is a gentle-crisp wheat beer with blueberry notes on the top end. It is not too sweet, just simple and delicious.

12 oz bottle. Dry and very chilling. Not that great but not that bad for a fruity wheat beer. There are many better.

This sweet summer beer could be a take it or leave it proposition. If not for the fact that I had time to do two flights I would probably have passed myself. Four ounces should be enough to decide for yourself on this middling regional fruit beer.

Aroma / Appearance - A golden translucent core beams rays of pure blueberry upwards. Sweet and dry, the texture feels thin and one dimensional.

Flavor / Palate - Undercooked blueberry pie fills the mouth with a fruity burst of ripe summer fruits. Basic wheat glues it all together; there is little substance underneath. Ultimately if I werent trying to get a couple more ticks to get that elusive 100th New York rate I would have no qualms about skipping it.

Draft. Half hazy body, small white head. The aroma is artificial of blueberry but still quite fresh. The taste has a nice hoppyness to it but the artificial finish is quite nasty.

ACBF 2016. Poured a clear golden amber color with a finger of frothy white head. Aroma of straight up blueberry muffins! Best part about this beer! Taste of grass, grain, lemons, and light artificial blueberry.

12oz bottle. Pours a dark, clear, golden yellow...pours a reasonable head that burns off completely. Smelly -- fruity, duh. Taste is aight, drinkable, but not exceptional. Palate is fairly thin and short -- overall a decent blue-berry beer.

355 mL bottle. Pours straw with an off white head. Nose is artifical blueberry, wheat malt and a little chewing gum. Sweet through and through. Light body and moderate carbonation. Strange and synthetic. Pass.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold body under a minimal fizzy white head that completely vanished. The nose is pretty huge on the blueberry, so much so that it just doesnt seem natural. Not much making it past the fruit on the nose. The flavor is much more bland than I was expecting given how strong the aroma is. Just a boring filtered wheat beer with a bit of blueberry candy like sweetness on the back end. Light bodied but with a bit of clinginess on the back end and soft fizzy carbonation. Not enough going on here to excite me.

Transfer from BA review on 3-30-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance The beer pours a clear golden-yellow color with a two finger fluffy white head. The head fades relatively quickly leaving a lighter level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell The aroma is heaviest of a blueberry nature mixed with some grainy wheat aromas. The blueberry is quite potent, but not overly sweet and has a nice almost drier smell as there are only lighter notes of a more caramel and sugary sweetness. Taste The taste begins with a flavor of a light wheat and blueberry flavor. The nose is heavier then the taste however, with the flavors being relatively subdued in comparison to the smell. The blueberry gives way with the wheat growing slightly stronger as the taste moved on from the beginning to the end. All the while a lighter sugary sweet taste that is upfront fades to the end with a slight bit of acidic and light bitter flavor comes to the tongue at the end of the taste leaving a dry blueberry wheat taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel The body of the beer is very light and crisp with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. Both are quite nice for the blueberry and wheat flavors of the brew and make for a refreshing style brew. Overall This would be a nice beer for a hot summer day as it is light, fruity and refreshing. Other then on a warm day in summer however this is one I would not go to on any great occasion as it is a little lacing in the flavor department.
