Poured a clear deep gold color with a thin off-white head. The aroma was sweet, earthy and dirty with some citrus hops as well. Sweet malt flavor with citrus hop notes. Bitter finish. Mild warming sensation in the chest. cdugo (31) - , Texas, USA - APR 26, 2009
Nice amber/copper color, pours with a nice hoppy aroma. Has a slight sour flavor to it along with citrus. McGarnigle (651) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 19, 2009
Dateless bomber, that makes no claims of India. Good looking orange-ish brew with wonderful head. You’d think this is going to be a standard Cascade big pale, but then there’s the sour. I wondered whether it had gone awry but (a) others have noted the sour and (b) it tastes good, even though I’m not a fan of sour beer. More sweet than bitter, and lots of citrus fruit. Would never guess more than 10% ABV. I didn’t like their pale ale much, but I like this a good deal. Sammy (12211) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 18, 2009
This 650 ml is listed at 11.5% abv and picked up in the fall in Buffalo. FInally, post-shushi, I game. OK, the sourness, and I am far from alone here. Some decent Cascade hop, a bit funky aroma, sweats and smells. Cloudy grapefruit with certain significant white head, and lace. Actually drinkable,.Not a DPA at all.

Bottle from blipp. A nice beer, but has a little age on it. Would probably have been great 2 months ago.

A dark clear amber ale with a very thin off white head. Nice floral hops aroma, caramel malt, and light vinous notes. In mouth, a viscous IPA with meaty notes, caramel, floral hops, land light vinous finale, like a barley wine. Nice. Flour City brewfest, August 15 2008. Bottle shared with Blankboy and Hogtown Harry, ,courtesy of Blankboy. Nice hop aroma - fruity, fresh,a little mild. Dark orange, small white head. Great taste - hoppy tasty fruit juice, light body. Alcohol not even noticeable. Really enjoyed it. shawn14505 (39) - Rochester, New York, USA - OCT 11, 2008
Hmmm.... It smells so wonderful. On the initial taste, it is near perfection. But the aftertaste is, well to be honest, slightly sour. Tastes like a belgian tripel. Maybe its the strain of yeast they used, but this beer is no where near as good as the price suggests. It is like a cross between an american DIPA and a belgian triple/quad. Not terrible, but nowhere near great. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - OCT 6, 2008
Lightly hazed orange/amber pour with thick creamy off white head and lace. Rock candy, caramel, medium citrus malt on the nose. Rich thick semi sweet malt with a cloying hop bitter. Thick rich full bodied with good carbonation and a nice medium full bitter. I liked this beer alot. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 25, 2008
12oz bottle-pours a rich light tan head that laces and copper color. Aroma is sweet and bitter citrus-lemon zest, some medium malt. Taste is sweet and bitter citrus-lemon zest, secondary medium malt-caramel/slight burnt, some alcohol. Slick/somewhat syrupy mouth feel. Occasional. Thanks decaturstevo for sharing this.
