The body was a nice golden color with light reddish hue. It was also full of lively visible carbonation that raced up to a thin white head. This head is loosely packed and quickly settles down to just a ring of lacy foam. Lacing on the glass was spotty and slick. I got a nice mix of light malty grain, freshly picked raspberries and raspberry candy. It has a good medium body and lightly sweet malt with just the right amount of mellow fresh raspberry flavor. The raspberry flavor is real and fresh with just a hint of tartness. This raspberry tartness plays well of the mellow hop bitterness and light leafy/spicy notes in the finish.

Golden in color with a thin head. Sweet/Tart raspberry aroma and flavor. Malty but overpowered by the raspberry flavoring used. Lubiere (13905) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 8, 2008
A golden ale with a thin white head. A rather tart raspberry aroma, chalky, light honey sweetness. In mouth, a rather cloying fruit beer, with chemical raspberries, rather boring and unidimensional. Flour City brewfest, August 15 2008. dpjuart (1112) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 17, 2008
9/23/08 - Draft Sample at Brewpub. Pours golden with rimming, white head. Nose is malt and slight fruit. Taste is bready malt with a decent amount of raspberry. Just enough, still leaving some beer qualities intact. Nice alcohol warmth and mild flavor. Crisp ending. Pretty decent overall. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - JUL 11, 2008
On tap @ brewpub - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a faint off white head. Faint lacing. Flavor and aroma is light raspberry. Medium body. Not too shabby for a fruit beer.

draft at brew pub. Surprisingly underdone in the "imperial" department, as this one went down smooth and not all that boozy. Raspberry flavor was certainly there. This is not my style, but something is there for fruit beer lovers. strangaj (250) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JAN 28, 2008
If you like raspberries, you’ll like this brew. Pours a clear golden color with thin white head. Smells and tastes like raspberries. Light bodied and you won’t notice the high ABV. Certainly a novelty session beer, but fun to drink when you want to switch it up.
