2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light on the palate; didn’t expect that out of something called an "ultra pale ale." Grassy, a little citrus, curious mouthfeel, Maybe it’s just me, but I got a little metallic blowback on the finish. Seems like an ok session beer for a summer day, but doesn’t seem at all like a serious pale ale.
Pours a hazy orange Amber with a white foamy head. Aroma of straw and lemon. Taste is light with citrus orange notes followed by a stiff floral hop finish that leaves the pallet dry.

(bottle - 12 oz) Pale gold pour with a thin white head. Light citrus and pine aroma with some flowery hops. Flavor is light and mildly sweet. Definitely get hints of citrus. Pine resin comes up at the middle and leaves a lightly bitter finish. Meilby (11495) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 19, 2015

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grass, pine and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long piney and grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap. A clear golden-orange beer with a small white head. Citrusy, pine and orangey aroma with a touch of pale malts. There’s a soft bitterness in the mouth, it’s medium bodied and quite dry, with a pleasant carbonation level. Orange zest, pine cones and some pale malts in the finish, lasting for a good while. Refreshing and tasteful. 150618 Leighton (21235) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 18, 2015
Bottle in Salisbury. Pours lightly unclear gold with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma holds some biscuity pale malts, slight grain, tangerine, generic citrus rind. Light-medium sweet flavor with dried citrus character, some pine needles, dried grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced to finish, some further dry and lightly rindy citrus, pale bread, low sweetness. Simple but effective APA.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was grassy, perfumy and had a bit of cactus. The flavor was bitter and tangy perfume, grass and lemon. Long finish. Medium body. Meh. bigda83 (854) - Jamestown, New York, USA - APR 3, 2015
Pours a clear golden yellow with a medium fluffy white head. Aromas are of light citrus, grass, and pine. Taste has a medium bitterness to it. Perfect summer beer with nice citrus flavors and ligh and easily drinkable. Light body, thin texture, fizzy carbonation, and an enjoyable light bitter finish. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 25, 2014
Bottle @ home. Mostly clear golden pour with a massive, rocky white head. Smells really grassy and lemony. Some orange peel, tea, and a hint of woody herbs. Not much malt, at least. Flavor is kind of bready. Has a bunch of tea and grass. Lemon peel all day as well. Light herbs, some cracker, and maybe peach. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - JUL 26, 2014
Bottle pours golden amber, white head that leashes a thick lacing coat. Nose has light hop resin. Taste was more hop forward, felt like chewing on a centennial hop cone, juicy. Pine, citrus. Light sweetness undulates with light bitterness. Light body that feels thin on the finish. generallee08 (772) - New York, USA - JUL 11, 2014
The body has a bright yellow gold color with great clarity. On top sits a small one and half finger thick white head that hangs on well and makes some nice lace on the glass. The aroma has a nice sweet maltiness with tons of juicy hop character. It has strong citrusy and fruity with just a hint of fruitiness. The malt is much lighter and understated which really shows off the vibrant hops. It is a little lighter bodied than most Pale Ales, sort of a light to medium range with a good bright and juicy hop forward character. This is right on point from the aroma and there are nice citrusy lemon and grapefruit with hints of pineapple notes over a delicate sweet bready layer of maltiness. It finishes fairly dry with more citrusy hops and mellow hop bitterness. The lighter body easy drinking texture makes for an extremely refreshing beer with plenty of nice carbonation.
