Deep mahogany with a foamy head colored light tan. The nose comes out nicley with a touch of hazelnut and toasted malts. The flavor is also compirsed of a creamy, nuttiness. Reminds me of a thinner bodied Rogue Hazelnut Brown.

Rating #2094- 2015.09.28 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 5, Beer 196 – Draught at Brewpub - Lunch before the plane ride home.Clear red-brown pour with an average creamy, tan head. Aroma is nutty (almond and cashew), and sweet roasted malts. Taste is light and sweet, with a clean mouthfeel that is quite refreshing, and a medium bitterness that dries out the finish a little too much.

j12601 (13304) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 14, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear cola brown with a thin tan head. Soft nutty malt on the nose, a touch of roast. Medium bodied, toast and a bit of malt. Crisp malt into the finish. Not a ton going on here, easy but a touch dull.

onceblind (10893) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Dark dark brown under a thin beige cap. Dark sweet nose with a weird accompanying green apple tone. The flavor is much the same with some dark biscuity bitter chocolate tones, something lightly sour with some light piney notes.

Imaena (2359) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - SEP 30, 2013
Draught. This is a pretty lack luster brew without much going for it. Give it a miss.

BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - SEP 9, 2010
Draft @ Beveridge Place: Dark brown color with a light head. The nose is malty with caramel and light hops. The flavor is clean, balanced and chewy, light toast and biscuit with some creamy doughnut notes in the tail. Balanced hop flavor and finish. Not bad.

carruthm (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2010

On tap. Pours clear cola brown with a lacy off-white head. Sweet brown sugar aroma with maybe vanilla? Medium-light body, watery texture, light carbonation. Tons of brown sugar in the taste, along with some chocolate and molasses in the semi-crisp finish.

BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 13, 2008
Dark brown with molasses/mahogany tinges and little head. Nutty, medium roast barley and hops in the nose. Ok malt and hop mix, PNW influenced. Well-balanced, with medium body. A pretty ho-hum brown ale.
