Cask @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty earthy hoppy aroma with some piney hints. Malty hoppy flavor with hints of caramel and hints of citrus and pine. Has a malty hoppy piney finish with a nice bitter aftertaste. Oakes (18473) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 9, 2015
Billed as the hoppier DIPA on at the time, this is actually pretty similar, maybe with more citrusy character but still old school crystal malt forward. Ferris (16270) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 18, 2014
Draft - Sweet caramel east coast style. Hazy copper with a decent head. Lots of caramel and bitterness. Resinous finish. Odd for something not an IPA. j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 14, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed amber with a thin white head. Big citrus on the nose, soft sticky oxidized fruity malt on the nose. Medium bodied, earthy citrus, a bunch of malt, getting a bit of fruit. Slow malt into the finish, malt, sticky and big. Comes across flabby and very malt. kp (10881) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2009

On tap at West Seattle brewpub. Pours out a copper topped with a white head. Aroma of fresh citrus. Tast of a nice citrus hop. A littel malt and a very nice bitter end. #1100 for me. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAY 26, 2009
draft at collins. pours a fairly cloudy darkish amber. decent gray creamy head. nice resiny nose, some toasty malt, and, alas, butter. creamy medium body. nice roasty toasty resiny mid palate, too bad the butter shows up again. longish resiny finish. cut the diacetyl and this probably gains .6 or more. bummer. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - NOV 21, 2008
Amber colored beer, thin head.. Malty aroma of bread perhaps with a ton of hops, pine and citrus mostly. Super hoppy flavors of grapefruit and pine with a touch of caramel maybe. Nice and hoppy. Lingering finish.
