Light amber/brown color with a foamy head. Smells of husky malts with a little wheat in the mix. There is a nice and mellow fruity hop background that is noticable in the flavor as well. The malts and wheat are present as well. The beer is smooth and clean. The flavors blend well together. I went for a second.
Clean golden beer with a thin head. I got a lot of corn and bread in the aroma. Flavor is also very sweet and malt liquor-y, but cleaner. Drinks somewhat smooth with only a slight hint of alcohol. Once again, I love malt liquor. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 24, 2008
On tap at Elliott Bay Brew Pub in West Seattle, WA--Thin burnt copper body with small wispy white head. Lots of lacing. Sweet biscuit flavor. Prickly yet silky mouthfeel. Finished with lingering flaked corn across the tongue. Delicious and mild but sweetness becomes a bit much after several tastes. anders37 (26639) - Malmö, SWEDEN - SEP 21, 2008
Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Sweet malty aroma with some hints of corn and caramel. Sweet malty caramel flavor. Sweetish malty caramel and corn finish. BuckeyeBoy (7680) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 9, 2008
On tap at West Seattle brewpub. Pours out a Gold topped with a white head. Aroma of sweet corn and malt. Tast is the same. Sweetness and corn. bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - JUN 17, 2008
On tap at WABL Fathers Day BrewFest 2008. Pours clear dark gold with a lacy white head. A bit of fruit in the nose. Light-ish body, minimal carbonation. There is some corn, loads of vanilla and some strange taste I can’t quite track down. Not that far afield from Ave Rat. If you need to choose between Olde E and Olde B, go with the "B".

Aroma – Rich malt aroma with that buttery essence.
Appearance – Golden in color, clear and a nice head
Flavor – This was a malt liquor I could drink again and again. Great flavors rich and full. Not watered down nor over produced taste.
Palate – This was interesting and fun to drink and the flavors where good.
Overall –Interesting this was a malt liquor and it was really good.
On tap at brewpub. Light golden with medium head. Breweries should really just stop experimenting with Malt Liquors....I just don’t get it. I’m all for experimentation, but when it almost seems that you’re trying to make something not good, what is the point? This was no different than the Big Time Ave Rat, Elysian AK-47 or any other local Malt Liquor I’ve tried in the past couple of years. Not good. Pretty mild off flavors as far as Malt Liquors go, but a little sourness that just isn’t right in any beer. Why not just make a good beer?
